Gas mining
Gas mining is on the rise in NSW. Traditional coal communities are undergoing gas mining expansion, and communities who had never imagined being impacted by mining before are now faced with gas mining exploration.
Exploration is currently underway on the Liverpool Plains for the mining and extraction of coal seam methane, or coal bed methane, posing a real menace to our most precious natural resources: water and agriculture.
